Special Edinburgh Rates and Edinburgh Decorated for the holidays


The Dome, a popular bar and restaurant in a spectacular building on George street has recently been decorated for the holidays.

Their Christmas Menus are available on selected dates during December and a Christmas Lunch costs £30.00 per person, Christmas Dinner £35.00 per person.

For those wishing to dine and dance, christmas dinners and discos are being held in the Georgian Suite at a cost of £40.00 per person.

Christmas in Edinburgh & Castle Events

This December the Edinburgh Castle will be holding its annual Christmas show on Sunday December 07th, Time: 12.30 pm – 3.30 pm. Meet Father Christmas along with music and shows.

The entire month of December in Edinburgh offers German markets, fun fairs and a city centre ferris wheel, pantomimes, santa grottoes, ice skating in Princes Street Gardens, and much more! Edinburgh Christmas lights are switched on late November and the festivities last through to Hogmanays (New year) four day festival! Both The Edinburgh Villa and The Georgian Apartment are decorated for the holiday season with a Christmas Tree.

There will also be a Christmas carol Sunday in Edinburgh Castles Great Hall. Sun 14 December 2008, 1.00 pm, 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm. Free admission for Historic Scotland members.
